Please take a moment to review our Terms of Service and Refund Policy before completing your payment.

This page explains the rules for paying via GoTyme QR Code using InstaPay (local bank-to-bank transfer) for tours, transfers, rentals, and travel services coordinated by D’Palawan Travel and Tours (the “Agency”).

Important: This is a convenience payment option only. In Palawan, many tour operators, boatmen, drivers, and local suppliers still require cash or cash-equivalent settlement for fuel, crew wages, permits, port fees, meals, and on-ground logistics.

If you are already in Palawan, cash payment remains the required and most reliable method. GoTyme QR / InstaPay is best used only when cash payment is not immediately available and there is enough time for posting and verification.

Before You Pay: Confirm the Exact Amount First

Before sending any QR payment, please contact us first to confirm the exact payable amount. This prevents underpayment caused by bank transfer fees, app charges, limits, or deductions.

If the posted amount is lower than the agreed service price, your booking may remain unconfirmed until the balance is settled.

What This Payment Method Is

GoTyme QR Code payments are usually processed via InstaPay, meaning you can scan a QR code from your bank app or e-wallet and send funds to the Agency’s GoTyme account.

  • This is generally intended for local/domestic payments within the Philippines
  • Posting is often fast, but not guaranteed (depends on banks, networks, and InstaPay status)
  • Some transactions may become floating, delayed, reversed, or unsuccessful

Payment Posting Rules (Very Important)

Slots are only provisionally reserved when you send a QR payment. Your booking becomes fully confirmed only when:

  • the payment has successfully posted and is reflected on the Agency’s end; and
  • the Agency has verified and acknowledged the posted payment.

Payment must post at the very least before the start of the tour, transfer, rental, or package. If payment is not posted/verified on time, the Agency and/or the Supplier/Provider may cancel, deny, or terminate service.

This policy exists because Suppliers/Providers must commit boats, vehicles, crews, fuel, permits, and schedules in advance, and cannot operate on unposted or unverified payments.

Fees and Charges

Any InstaPay fees, bank transfer charges, or app-related charges are imposed by your bank/e-wallet provider and/or InstaPay network.

  • All fees are shouldered by the Client
  • Fees are separate from the tour/service price
  • All third-party fees are non-refundable, even if a booking refund is later approved

Refund basis reminder: If a refund is approved under the Agency’s rules and/or Supplier policy, refund computations are based on the net amount actually received by the Agency, excluding third-party fees.

Proof of Payment (Required)

Immediately after paying, please send a clear screenshot of the successful transaction showing:

  • Payer’s full name
  • Exact amount paid
  • Date and time of payment
  • Transaction/reference number
  • Sending bank/e-wallet (optional but helpful)

Important: A screenshot is for coordination only. It does not confirm a booking by itself. Confirmation requires actual posting and reflection on the Agency’s end.

Failed, Floating, or Delayed InstaPay Transactions

InstaPay transactions may sometimes become delayed or “floating” due to:

  • bank app downtime or maintenance
  • InstaPay network interruptions
  • incorrect details, limits, or security flags
  • unstable internet connection

If your payment is floating/delayed and the tour/service start time is near, your booking may remain provisional and may be cancelled if funds do not post on time.

The Agency is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment apps, InstaPay, or connectivity issues.

Helpful Tips

  • 1) Contact us first to confirm the exact payable amount (to avoid underpayment due to fees).
  • 2) Pay earlier than your tour date whenever possible—avoid last-minute QR payments.
  • 3) Use a stable internet connection to reduce failed or floating transactions.
  • 4) Double-check the amount before tapping “Send/Pay.”
  • 5) Take a screenshot immediately after payment (include the reference number).
  • 6) Keep your transaction reference number until the tour/service is completed.
  • 7) If your payment shows “processing” or “pending,” message us right away so we can monitor posting.
  • 8) Avoid paying during known bank maintenance windows (late night/early morning, weekends) when possible.
  • 9) Don’t assume “payment sent” equals “booking confirmed.” Wait for our confirmation that funds posted.
  • 10) If the tour is same-day, use cash instead—QR payments can still delay unexpectedly.
  • 11) If you’re paying for a group, clearly indicate the group name or booking name in your message to us.
  • 12) If you accidentally underpay due to fees, settle the balance immediately to avoid slot forfeiture.

Acceptance of Terms

These Payment Guidelines are intended to help ensure a smooth and stress-free booking experience by explaining the accepted payment methods, possible fees, and important operational, posting, and refund-related considerations when booking tours, transfers, rentals, and travel services through D’Palawan Travel and Tours (the “Agency”).

Palawan travel operates under real-world, on-ground conditions. Tours, boat operations, vehicle dispatch, permits, crews, meals, and equipment preparation are delivered primarily by independent local suppliers such as boat operators, drivers, guides, tour operators, and rental owners. As a practical and operational reality, most suppliers require cash or cash-equivalent settlement to mobilize resources, prepare equipment, secure permits, assign crews, and cover essential costs such as fuel, port and terminal fees, food provisions, and logistics.

Because of these realities, cash payment remains our required and preferred payment method. It is the simplest, fastest, and most reliable way to confirm bookings, reduce processing delays, and coordinate services efficiently. When possible, especially for time-sensitive arrangements or limited slots, we strongly encourage guests to settle in cash.

At the same time, we recognize that some guests may not yet be in Palawan, may be arranging payments remotely, or may need to secure their booking in advance. For this reason, digital and electronic payment methods are offered strictly as a convenience option. These methods may involve third-party processing, platform or bank charges, currency conversions, posting delays, withdrawal or encashment requirements, and intermediary deductions before supplier settlement can occur.

Sending any payment, deposit, or reservation amount shall be construed as confirmation that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Payment Guidelines together with our Refund Policy, Terms of Service, Terms of Use, Disclaimer, Disclosure, and all other policies of this site and D'Palawan Travel and Tours.

Clients are strongly advised to read this page together with the Payment Rules (Applies to All Payment Methods) section appearing below, which governs booking confirmation, verification, applicable fees, proof of payment requirements, exchange-rate handling, fraud prevention, and dispute or chargeback procedures.

Important Operational Reminder: Before sending any digital or electronic payment (including GCash, PayPal, bank transfer, QR payments, or money remittance), clients must contact us first to confirm the following:

  • The exact payable amount for the selected tour, package, or service, taking into account possible platform or bank deductions;
  • The availability, suitability, and validity of the chosen payment channel;
  • The expected posting and verification timeline relevant to the service date.

Payments sent without prior confirmation may result in underpayment, misapplied funds, or delayed posting. While the Agency will always make reasonable efforts to assist, slot availability and service coordination cannot be guaranteed until the correct amount is received and verified in accordance with the Payment Rules.
